What happens in a tarot reading, and what it can and cannot tell you
5 min read · Updated 9 October 2026

Tarot is a mirror that speaks in symbols. It does not tell you what the future holds; it helps you see what the present is shaping. If you have never had a reading, or had one that felt like a performance, this is what a reading with Bhaarti at Sacred Divine actually involves, and what it can and cannot do.
How a reading works
You bring a question or a theme. Bhaarti shuffles and lays a spread, a pattern of cards where each position means something: the situation, what is hidden, what is coming, what you can do. The cards are read together, as a story, not one by one from a book. The reading is a conversation: quiet, honest and grounded in everyday life, not a prediction delivered from on high.
What people ask about
Ask open questions. 'What do I need to see about this relationship?' gives a far richer reading than 'Will he text me back?'
- Love and relationships: where a relationship is going, why a pattern repeats, whether to stay or move on. Tarot for love is the most common reading.
- Career and money: a job change, a business decision, a stuck phase.
- Life transitions: a move, a loss, a new chapter.
- Themselves: the question behind the question, usually.
The death card, and other fears
Nobody dies in a tarot reading. The Death card means an ending that makes room for something new: a job, a habit, a version of yourself. The Tower means a sudden change; the Devil means a pattern you are tied to. The cards describe the energy of a situation, and every card has a hopeful side. A good reader tells you both.
What tarot cannot do
Tarot does not predict fixed outcomes, read another person's mind, or replace medical, legal or financial advice. It cannot decide for you. It can show you what you already sense but have not named, and give you a clearer place to decide from.
Zoom, voice note or in person
A full reading with Bhaarti is 45 to 60 minutes on Zoom or voice call. A voice-note reading answers three questions as a recording you keep. A short energetic consultation suits a first-time client with one quick question. Sessions are booked on WhatsApp and confirmed once paid; there is a waiting period because each reading is prepared.
How to prepare
See the healing sessions page for every option and price, and the session FAQs for rescheduling and recordings.
- Sit somewhere quiet for ten minutes beforehand.
- Write down one to three questions; open ones.
- Light a candle or incense if you like.
- Keep a journal nearby; insights land better written down.
- Come as you are, without expectation.
