How to Cleanse Your Lapis Lazuli Chips
- Moonlight Spread the chips on a cloth near an open window on the Full Moon night and leave overnight. The most complete cleanse for a full batch.
- Smudging Move sage, palo santo, or frankincense smoke thoroughly over the entire spread of chips.
- Sound Cleansing Place the chips in a bowl near a singing bowl and let the vibration work through them for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Running Water Lapis Lazuli often contains natural pyrite and calcite. Avoid prolonged water soaking, which can dull its finish over time. A brief rinse is fine; dry immediately, or prefer the dry cleansing methods above.
Recharging
- After cleansing, hold the batch in cupped hands and restate your intention clearly. This refreshes the energetic programming.
- Place in indirect morning sunlight for 20 to 30 minutes to recharge. Avoid direct concentrated sunlight.
